Barriseal-S and Barricoat-S spray-applied vapor and water-resistant membranes are rubberized asphalt emulsions that require simultaneous spray with a salt solution to cure. This chemistry provides a system with fast application, low equipment and material costs, low VOCs, and fast curing over a broad temperature range. Carlisle offers a co-spray that is chloride-free, permitting application of barriers where the use of chlorides is forbidden.
