Milgard launches Moving Glass Wall Systems line

By Milgard Windows & Doors | July 9, 2013
Milgard Windows & Doors has opened up an entirely new way to look at luxury by introducing Moving Glass Wall Systems. This innovative glass wall system blurs the line between inside and out. Typically, moving glass walls were only considered for high-end custom homes, until Milgard reframed the conversation. Homeowners can now choose from 12 standard sizes in three- and four-panel configurations for new construction and retrofit projects.

"Milgard is very proud and excited to introduce this new moving glass wall system and we believe it will be a popular addition to any home," said Brian Jones, Vice President of Marketing for Milgard Windows & Doors. “The simplicity of moving a wall allows homeowners to easily reconfigure spaces to extend their living areas to the outdoors, while the design complements other Milgard windows and doors for a beautiful home package. And, we've specifically developed Milgard Moving Glass Wall Systems to be obtainable by a wider range of homeowners – all backed by Milgard's history of excellence in design and customer service.”

Milgard Moving Glass Wall Systems are available in a variety of aluminum colors with an option for clear vertical grain Douglas fir or pine interiors. There are several standard sizes available with three- or four-panel configurations that include a fully weather-stripped structural interlock system. There are two Low-E glass options, including Milgard SunCoatMAX® glass, a specialty glass coating for improved energy efficiency in both summer and winter.

Milgard Moving Glass Wall Systems beautifully integrate with other Milgard windows and patio doors for a unified look throughout a home. Unlike some other glass wall systems, the new Milgard offering is easy to open and close due to tandem stainless steel ball bearing rollers. With the touch of a finger, homeowners can easily open up and extend any living space.
