A patented glass block installation system with internal illumination capabilities was recently installed at the Planet Fitness facility in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Utilizing a uniquely extruded, clear acrylic channeling profile, along with an injection-molded connector, Swift Track installed 13 glass block panels throughout the gym, illuminating the space with an LED RGB strip that emits purple light. In addition to LED strips, the system’s half-inch channels act as chases to house fiberoptics and rope lighting, keeping everything completely out of sight. Del-Lighting fabricated the LED strips for all the glass block panels used in Planet Fitness.
