Bannockburn, Illinois - January 30, 2009 - Mark E. Augustyn and James A. Brucato, owners of Principle Construction Corp., announce the completion of a new 67,230 square foot speculative facility located at 371-375 Meyer Road in Bensenville, IL. Principle was selected by developer, Seefried Properties, Inc. as the builder for this project.
Situated on a 4.14-acre parcel, this speculative distribution/warehouse building is located two miles from the south cargo entrance of O’Hare International Airport. Features of the 162’ long, precast building include 28’ clear height, 26 loading docks, two drive-in doors, ESFR sprinkler system throughout and 68 car parking spaces.
“In order to maximize the building’s square footage and stay within budget, two unique forms of storm water detention were incorporated in the design. An underground storm water vault in combination with a roof detention system proved to be the innovative solution to allow this project to move forward and be a success.” stated Mark Augustyn, Chief Operating Officer of Principle Construction Corp. Cornerstone Architects provided architectural services for the project.
