The founding partners of Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates have formed three independent organizations, with each new firm retaining core staff of the predecessor firm. Hugh Hardy's firm, H³ Hardy Collaboration, will remain in New York. Malcolm Holzman will join partner Douglas Moss to form Holzman Moss Architecture. Norman Pfeiffer, with partners Stephen Johnson and Jean Marie Gath, will remain in Los Angeles as Pfeiffer Partners.

Retired Lieutenant General Robert Flowers, former commanding general of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, heads the new Federal Services Corporation subsidiary of A/E HNTB Companies.

Walker Lee Evey is the new CEO of the Design-Build Institute of America. Evey was most recently senior VP of A/E 3D/International. Prior to that, he was program manager for the $4 billion Pentagon renovation program.

Gregory Kozicz is the new president of Alberici Constructors, St. Louis.

BlueScope Steel Limited of Australia has completed its merger with Butler Manufacturing Co., parent company of The Vistawall Group, Terrell, Texas.
