Earns J.D. Power and Associates consumer award for third year

August 11, 2010

Pella Corporation has earned the prestigious J.D. Power and Associates award for “Highest in Customer Satisfaction among Window and Patio Door Manufacturers” for the third year in a row.

“We are truly honored that again for the third straight year and continually since the award’s inception, consumers recognize Pella’s industry-leading focus on providing superior windows and outstanding service,” said Elaine Sagers, Pella vice president of marketing and customer satisfaction. “The J.D. Power and Associates award is a direct reflection of the dedicated efforts of the Pella system, together with our valued business partners, to create a better view for our customers.”

About the J.D. Power and Associates study
In the independently conducted study by J.D. Power and Associates, consumers were asked to evaluate window brands on product and service attributes. Survey topics included operational performance and features, appearance and design features, ordering and delivery, warranty and replacement, price competitiveness, installation service, overall experience, problem occurrence, and loyalty.

In the study, Pella performs particularly well in three of seven factors: operational performance; product quality/durability; and appearance and design.

The 2009 Windows and Patio Doors Satisfaction Study is based on responses from 2,856 consumers who purchased new windows or patio doors in the previous 12 months. Eight brands were rated in the study. Proprietary study results are based on experiences and perceptions of consumers surveyed in March and April 2009. Your experiences may vary. Visit jdpower.com

Earlier this year, Pella also earned the U.S. Department of Energy’s ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award for windows for the third consecutive year, recognized as an ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence winner for the company’s leadership in manufacturing energy-efficient windows and educating consumers about them.
