Ofï¬?ce building lets light in, keeps heat outA new pre-certified LEED-CS Platinum office building in Denver is now ready for tenants. The 22-story, 545,000 mixed-use facility, crafted by Denver’s RNL Design, saves energy with its 9.5-foot-high floor-to-ceiling windows made of blue- and gray-hued inch-thick insulating glass, which transmits 92% of natural light while keeping solar heat out. The building’s primary tenant, Xcel Energy, Colorado’s largest utility company, will place 1,300 employees there.
