Traveling carpet

The Destination Collection incorporates natural elements from such celebrated destinations as Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Key West. The broadloom and modular carpeting is manufactured with ColorStrand solution-dyed nylon, protected by Sentry Plus soil and stain treatment and available with the Mohawk Group's PVC-free Encycle backing.

Chairs are for fools, everybody wants stools!

Herman-Miller has extended the reach of its iconic Aeron chair with the new Aeron work stool. Inspired by the design of Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick's Aeron chair, the Aeron work stool incorporates the ergonomic and aesthetic features of the work chair, including its three finishes, Pellicle fabric options, active sacral support with PostureFit technology, and the Kinemat tilt. Designed by Stumpf Weber and Associates, the work stool offers an innovative footring adjustment feature. The patent-pending technology lets you adjust the footring independent of the stool's seat height adjustment.

Customizable conferencing

Bretford will unveil the Luce line of conference tables and credenzas at NeoCon 2007. Luce conference tables are available in veneer, laminate, and resin. Special lighting can be designed into the top or base of the tables to create an illuminated setting, while their hardwood edges provide elegant and clean aesthetics. Luce conference credenzas offer glass or veneer doors and an exposed or hidden top shelf.

Green and comfortable flooring

ECOsurfaces is introducing the ECOcomfort flooring line, with a new ergonomic comfort cell underlayment. Designed for banks, pharmacies, retail, healthcare, and other environments where people waiting in line or standing in one place for a long time need foot comfort, ECOcomfort consists of a comfort cell underlayment, a custom E-Grip II adhesive, and ECOsurface's 100% post-consumer recycled rubber flooring.

Hold 'em steady

SwingArm-Dual from Workrite Ergonomics is an ergonomic stand that can support two LCD monitors up to 25 lb. each. The aluminum stand has five axes for user adjustment; each extension arm rotates 360 degrees.

Take resilient flooring outdoors

Commercial flooring is going al fresco with Londeck and Londeck Sierra, two new exterior surfacing collections. The resilient sheet vinyl collections were designed to withstand extreme sun, salt, and water. Both collections have a middle layer that provides cushioning for foot traffic and an exposed PVC wear layer that preserves color and resiliency.

Knit to be tied

The Morley Knitback chair is available in 16 color combinations with a fixed-arm configuration. The Knitback features a polyester “sock” back knit in a pattern. Each pattern—with four colors plus a black monofilament—resembles solid-patterned upholstery with the comfort of a flexible mesh. The pattern offers a different look depending on how light hits the chair.
