Napa Valley's indoor/outdoor character of living will be reflected in its new Bardessono Inn and Spa, using a green design by Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo, Honolulu.

The 62-room boutique luxury lodge and spa, located on a 4.9-acre site in Yountville, Calif., will be constructed with sustainable building materials. The project will also use organic management practices and solar and geothermal energy. Valet parking and limited roadways minimize impervious surfaces.

Spa amenities include eight treatment rooms, a 75-foot rooftop pool, a restaurant, meeting space, private courtyards, and a lobby with no front desk.

Yountville Investors LLC is the developer, with George W. Girvin Associates as landscape architect. Opening date: April 2008.
