Mixed-use building to rise near Florida’s Alafia River

Garrison Developer Group of Sarasota, Fla., has begun construction on the first phase of The Preserve at Alafia, a $100 million mixed-use development in southeast Hillsborough County, Fla., that will include 351 waterfront apartments. The development, which fronts the Alafia River near Interstate 75, will also include 40,000 sf of retail space, 20,000 sf of office space, and 10,780 sf of corporate office space.
