Commuters' surplus body heat used to warm office building
If the energy people expend when dancing can be used to power cellphones and even nightclubs, why couldn't the excess body heat of thousands of daily commuters be harnessed in a similar way? Turns out it can—and a Swedish real estate firm has devised a way to use commuter energy to warm an entire office building.
