Ground Broken For New SAFC Pharma Building In Verona

Vogel Bros. Building Co., Flad Architects, and Affiliated Engineers, all of Madison, WI, broke ground for the new 45,000-square-foot SAFC Pharma™ manufacturing facility on October 1.

Located on 15 acres of green space in Verona, WI, the $30-million expansion to the company’s facility was designed to significantly increase its capacity to produce commercial scale High Potency Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients(HPAPIs).

The building will feature specially designed quality-control laboratories, a potent-compound packaging area, warehouse space, offices, and room forexpansion.

Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2009.
