Ontario, Calif. - June 2009—HMC Architect’s 2009 corporate promotions include three principals, two associate principals, five associates, two shareholders, and a chief marketing officer.
Formerly the firm’s executive vice president, Chris Taylor, AIA, LEED® AP, was named chief marketing officer (CMO).
“Chris has been with the firm since 1984 and has developed a unique talent for understanding a client’s vision and needs and strategically structuring teams to successfully achieve client goals and objectives,” stated CEO Randy Peterson, FAIA, LEED AP.
In Taylor’s position as CMO, he will focus on aligning HMC’s business development strategies with industry trends and client needs. He will support HMC’s leadership to provide high-quality design and excellent client service. According to Peterson, “Chris will be instrumental in strategizing plans for emerging markets and working with key clients and firm leaders to continue to position HMC as an industry leader.”
HMC’s three principal appointments include Konni Wong-Doi, CID, LEED AP, Gary Gidcumb, RA, and Scott Griffith, AIA.
The firm’s new associate principals include Hector Cruz, LEED AP, and Dale Krahn, AIA.
HMC’s newest associates include Jim Rosa, Assoc. AIA, Meng Ho, Chris Grant, Jamie Saucier, AIA, LEED AP, and Harold Kiewel, AIA, CSI, CCS.
Hal Sibley, AIA, LEED AP, and Craig Semingson, AIA, ACHA, both principals with the firm, were named as new shareholders.
