Sears credit division to redeem notes

The company plans to call for redemption of the full outstanding principal amount of the $250 million notes. It said it will pay all of the principal as well as the interest accrued and unpaid on each note up to, but not including, Sept. 1, 2003. The payment will be made on Sept. 2.
