Majority of construction leaders fear competitive disadvantage if AI not embraced
A new survey by Intuit is evidence that the construction industry is taking the AI boom very seriously.
Some 79% of respondents agree that failure to embrace AI will leave the industry at a severe competitive disadvantage. An even bigger cohort, 88%, say AI can empower their workforces.
An overwhelming 89% of respondents are exploring or implementing AI, and 88% are actively looking to integrate AI in their new tools. The largest firms plan to invest an average of $120,000 in technology over the next 12 months.
Intuit recently launched the Construction Edition of Intuit Enterprise Suite, a platform tailored to the construction industry’s “unique needs for financial management,” according to a news release. “The solution allows construction companies to make smarter bids, deliver projects under-budget, leverage AI and automation, and more.”
