Sound sound systems

Aug. 11, 2010

Eleven WRK-44-32 rack enclosure systems safely store the amplifiers and processing equipment for St. Paul, Minn.'s Xcel Energy Center, home to the National Hockey League's Minnesota Wild. Minneapolis-based sound contractor, Impulse Group Inc., installed seven enclosures housing 56 amplifiers in the arena's upper catwalk 120 feet above the ice. Three more were installed in the main control room to hold the front of house processing and control equipment. The final enclosure contains the main level amplification and processing. The rack enclosures, offered in 24, 37, 40 and 44 rackspace models, are finished with a black textured powder coat.
