Visitors have a unique way of entering the Orlando Science Center-through a 200-ft.-long pedestrian spaceframe walkway. The glass is suspended within the double-helix structure. Structural components for the Starwalk system include tubular struts with tapered end plugs connecting to spherical hubs. Metal decking and lightweight concrete form the walkway.
