Patrick MacLeamy has been named CEO of St. Louis-based A/E HOK Group Inc. The 36-year HOK employee helped to establish the firm's first regional office, in San Francisco, in 1970.

Skanska USA Building Inc., Parsippany, N.J., will acquire employee-owned BFW Construction Co., Temple, Texas. The $19 million purchase price includes $7.5 million for cash assets in the same amount being acquired from BFW.

Dale Alan Greenwald, formerly an associate partner with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, has joined Cannon Design's New York City office as vice president.

Robert Fox, Jr., a co-founding principal of Fox & Fowle Architects, New York City, has left the firm to start his own architectural practice.

Nestor Iwankiw, former vice president of engineering and research at American Institute of Steel Construction, heads the new Chicago office of fire protection consultant Hughes Associates.
