A renovation of the Malcolm B. Love Library at San Diego State University involved the unusual task of creating enough natural light for a building that is 70 percent underground. A 75-ft.-diameter steel-and-glass dome skylight system was specified. The BMS-3000 system supports conventional cap, two-sided structural silicone and four-sided structural glazing techniques, and it features a patented glazing clip for thermal improvement.
