Carpet backing systems

The diversity and durability of polyurethane carpet backing systems are illustrated in seven new case histories depicting commercial carpet applications at various locations ranging from offices in Johns Hopkins Hospital to fitness centers at the University of Denver. The amount of foot traffic as well as exposure to moisture and heavy sports equipment were considered in selecting which backing was chosen.
