Something New, Something Blue
Bernard Tschumi, former dean of architecture at Columbia University, has designed his first residential project. Named Blue for its glass curtain wall colored in varying shades of blue, the estimated $17 million, 16-story apartment tower is under construction on Manhattan's Lower East Side. Scheduled for completion in late 2006, Blue is being developed by New York's Angelo Cosentini and John Carson.
