Another Flexible Office Building Breaks Ground in D.C.

Construction is under way on a new 52,300-sf office development at 1602 L Street, N.W., in Washington, D.C. According to architect WDG Architecture of Washington, the building was designed to have floor plates of only 6,000 sf specifically for smaller tenants. JGB of Chevy Chase, Md., is the developer. Whiting-Turner Contracting of Baltimore is the general contractor. SK&A of Washington is the structural engineer. Wiles Mensch of Berlin, Md., is the civil engineer.
