VIESTE Energy, LLC has teamed up with ESD (Environmental Systems Design, Inc.) to design a national portfolio of net zero data centers. These facilities will be developed in conjunction with 8-15MW of power generated from gasification-based waste-to-energy facilities.

Power will be produced from a turbine generator that feeds the facility. This system also will produce chilled water for use in the data centers. This portfolio of renewable energy power generation facilities coupled with environmentally friendly solid waste management creates a negative carbon footprint, one of the first undertakings of its kind in the United States. The first phase of this portfolio has been funded and development is under way.
