Team officials estimate the project will employ as many as 1,600 workers over a two-year period.

When the project is completed—expected in time for the 2013 season—the north end zone will look different from the rest of the bowl with a "vertical wall" effect. The design will likely make the stadium louder, giving the home team an advantage, a team official says.
