Noiseproofing at 93-unit luxury condo refit

The 93-suite Lodge Condominiums at Giant Ridge in Biwabik, Minn., recently converted from a traditional hotel format to a condominium/resort rental model. To reduce noise transmittance between units, Green Glue was used between wall boards to dissipate the energy created when sound waves cause vibrations in walls, floors, ceilings, and other rigid building materials.
