Low-e glass helps school achieve LEED Silver certification

Aug. 11, 2010

Linden Middle School, Kalamazoo, Mich., has been certified LEED Silver by the U.S. Green Building Council, thanks in part to the glass, which helped the project achieve several building materials and daylighting strategy points. Guardian SunGuard SuperNeutral 54, with 54% visible light transmission and a low 0.28 solar heat gain coefficient, gave the school more natural light and energy savings.
