DensArmor Plus Impact-Resistant interior panels offer resistance to surface abrasion, indentation, and hard body impact thanks to an additional embedded fiberglass mesh. Fiberglass facers, rather than paper facers, reduce remediation and scheduling delays associated with paper-faced drywall.

Applications: Buildings where high traffic, either human or equipment, is an issue

Availability: Nationally in the U.S. and Canada

Cost: $0.80-1.20/sf, including purchase, delivery, installation, and finishing

Contents: Coated fiberglass facers with a fiberglass mesh embedded into the back mat. Core contains moisture-resistant gypsum.

Options/Sizes: 4x10 and 4x12 feet; 5/8-inch thick

Environmental attributes: Greenguard Indoor Air Quality and Children and Schools certified for low VOC emissions; microbial-resistant per ASTM D 6329 and mold-resistant per ASTM D 3273. Panels qualify for CHPS credits for IEQ and may contribute toward points for LEED Regional Materials 5.1 and 5.2 and Innovation in Design
