Wall panels give Martin's hangar a sleek, NASCAR look

NASCAR driver Mark Martin utilized 5,200 sf of Dri-Design wall panels to upgrade the appearance of his headquarters and private jet hangar. Located at the Spruce Creek Fly-In Community in Port Orange, Fla., the building serves as headquarters for Mark Martin Enterprises as well as the hangar for Martin's airplane. Martin himself designed the facility.

The Dri-Design Wall Panel System is a dry joint, pressure-equalized rainscreen system.

“We used the pre-engineered, packaged building as the substrate for our panels,” said Brad Zeeff, president of Dri-Design. “The sub girts were attached over the siding panels and fastened through the siding into the structural steel. This is really an economical way to give an industrial building a appearance.”
