'Green’ structural flooring system

Aug. 11, 2010

Floor system uses 99% recycled material in the joists and 70% recycled material in the decking, providing a “green” solution for structural floors. The Ecospan Composite Floor System is designed for the multifamily residential, hotel, and retirement community sectors, and is compatible with virtually all wall systems specified in those markets. Wide joist spacing and open web design provide easy access for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical design and installation. Ecospan helps make the finished structures safer, with UL fire ratings of up to three hours.
