Guardian has added six glass colors to its line of low-emissivity SunGuard Architectural Glass. SunGuard AG 50 is a low-e coating that now comes in light silver, silver gray, and green. The coating is spectrally selective, allowing high amounts of visible light into a building while minimizing solar heat gain. SunGuard Royal Blue 40 combines low-e performance with a blue appearance, but without the cost, heat absorption, and bluish transmitted light typical of coatings on blue float glass. Royal Blue 40 comes in three shades: royal blue, blue gray, and aquamarine.
