EPDM membranes get FAT

Carlisle SynTec has increased the number of its EPDM membranes that come standard with its Factory-Applied Tape (FAT). Applied in a factory-controlled setting, FAT seam technology provides uniform adhesive width and thickness, reducing seam installation time by as much as 75% while cutting labor requirements by one-third when compared to traditional seaming methods. Thirty-six EPDM systems are now available with FAT, including 45-, 60- and 75-mil reinforced Sure-Tough systems and 45-, 60- and 90-mil non-reinforced Sure-Seal membranes.
