Giants 300 Hotel Report

Hotel sector will continue to be sluggish into 2011

August 11, 2010
This article first appeared in the 200907 issue of BD+C.

The value of hotel starts has averaged under $500 million over the last six months, less than half of the development pace of the previous three years. This level is expected to be maintained into 2011, rising only with higher project costs.
