Tomorrow’s buildings will not only behave differently than today’s – they will look different too, accoding to Guido Wimmers, who recently spoke to designers, engineers, and contractors at the Building Envelope Solutions conference in Vancouver. Wimmers, who holds a master’s degree in architecture and a doctorate in engineering science from Innsbruck, Austria, spoke about high performance building envelope design in the institutional, commercial, and industrial sectors, as well as single-family residential field.
