Energy Star announces National Building Competition winners

Fourteen buildings from across the United States went head-to-head to work off their waste and reduce their energy use in EPA's first-ever National Building Competition. Buildings ranged from a New York City skyscraper to an elementary school in the mountains of Colorado. The winner? Morrison Residence Hall at UNC Chapel Hill, which reduced energy usage by 35.7%
