This article first appeared in the 200403 issue of BD+C.

The February news story about Freedom Tower that is to be built on the World Trade Center site mistakenly stated that the structure of Chicago's John Hancock Building is outside of the curtain wall. This visible "structure" is actually cladding that follows the lines of the Hancock 's frame. The story also incorrectly listed the Hancock Building's 1,127-ft. height.
