Bulbrite recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with a special event at its headquarters and the Thomas Edison Museum in late July.
Customers, sales representatives, and vendors converged at the company headquarters where they joined employees on tours through the offices, warehousing and distribution facilities, lighting lab and showroom. At the completion of the touring, guests attended two educational seminars featuring two of the hottest topics in the industry: the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA), and the importance of social media including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Later in the afternoon, guests were taken on a private, tour of the Thomas Edison Laboratory Complex in West Orange, N.J. Known as the “father of invention,? Edison earned over a thousand United States patents. He invented the first durable light bulb, an electricity distribution system, a phonograph, a motion picture camera, a fluoroscope for x-rays, and a multitude of other innovations.
