Building Design+Construction has received the Boger Special Reports Award from the Construction Writers Association for its 2008 White Paper, "Green Buildings + Climate Change."
Senior Editor Jay W. Schneider received an honorable mention in the Kneeland H. Godfrey Award program for his body of work, and Chief Editor Robert Cassidy won the Boger Editorial Award for his editorial, "Beware of Hype on the Value of Green Buildings."
BD+C also won AZBEE National Awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors for the 2008 White Paper and for "Commercial Restrooms That Work Right," an AIA/CES course by Contributing Editors C.C. Sullivan and Barbara Horwitz-Bennett. "Multifamily Report 2008" won a regional AZBEE.
The 2008 White Paper was also a finalist in the Jesse H. Neal Awards competition, sponsored by American Business Media.
