Thornton Tomasetti founding principals receive CTBUH Fazlur R. Khan Lifetime Achievement Medal
This is the first time the CTBUH Board of Trustees has awarded the prize to two individuals jointly.
Thornton Tomasetti's founding principals Charles H. Thornton, Ph.D., P.E., NAE, Hon. AIA, Hon. ASCE and Richard L. Tomasetti, P.E., NAE, Hon. AIA, have received the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat’s (CTBUH) prestigious 2012 Fazlur R. Khan Lifetime Achievement Medal for their collective contribution to the advancement of tall buildings.
This is the first time the CTBUH Board of Trustees has awarded the prize to two individuals jointly.
The award will be presented at CTBUH’s 11th Annual Awards Dinner at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Oct. 18, 2012. +
