Born in 1969, NeoCon is now in its 35th year of bringing commercial and residential furnishing manufacturers and design professionals together for seminars, forums, and trade shows.

With over 50,000 attendees, 1,200 exhibitors, 120 CEU-accredited seminars, a student day, and a special green design exhibit, this year's show promises to be packed with the latest industry trends.

New this year is Greenlife, an exhibit of products for sustainable building design, sponsored by HOK Chicago. The exhibit will not only highlight the show's green products, but will also include a Green Walk tour on Tues., June 17, of the manufacturers and experts who created the sustainable products themselves.

Student Day is scheduled for Wed., June 18, and will include a career exchange, showroom tour, and presentation of the NeoCon Student Awards, honoring students with exceptional portfolios and essays. Keynote discussions include "Learning from the Theatre," "Be Yourself in Interior Design," and "Creativity as an Economic Force." BDC
