Slated to be completed by this September, The Learning Center will be a 120,000-sf, $35 million facility that will combine a preschool and K-6 elementary school with a comprehensive program for on-site teacher training. It's being built just southwest of downtown Riverside, Calif. and will house 150 preschool students, 750 K-6 students, and 300 teacher trainees. HMC Architects of Ontario, Calif., received an Award of Excellence from the Community College Facility Coalition (CCFC) for its design of The Learning Center.
