Nestled in Sevierville, Tenn., at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains is the Wilderness at the Smokies resort, which incorporates condos, hotels, and water parks. Mascot, Tenn.-based Laxton Tile Inc. recently poured 472,000 sf of underlayment at several of the structures, following a fast-track construction schedule that placed tough demands for speed and quality work upon subcontractors. The 234-room hotel features USG's Levelrock 2500 floor underlayment and the Levelrock SRM-25 sound
reduction mat, which
reduces footstep noise.
