Protective power

Complete door assemblies, including door, frame, perimeter sound seals, and door bottom, have Positive Pressure labels for up to 3 hours. In addition to the standard factory prime paint, the doors are available in galvanized steel, enamel finish paints, wood veneers, and plastic laminates. The doors also meet direct and rebound pressure certifications, enabling them to protect from the effects of explosions and explosive-borne missiles.

Wireless glass

Fire-rated glazing material for educational and athletic facilities is laminated and impact safety-rated. FireLite Plus was created in response to the International Building Code's standard, which eliminated the use of wired glass in schools. The material has fire ratings up to 3 hours when used in doors and up to 90 minutes in other applications.

Safe insulation

Duct insulation provides a one- and two-hour fire rating and is made of a flexible fire protection wrap that meets the requirements of the National Fire Protection Association and the Underwriters Laboratories for fire-rated grease ducts. FlameChek is made of a glass fiber blanket that is completely covered in a fiberglass-reinforced foil face. The flame-resistant scrim was developed to survive the rigors of installation and to provide weather and water resistance. FlameChek is 1 ½-in. thick and is available in 25-ft. rolls, in 2- or 4-ft. widths. For use in restaurants, stadiums, hospitals, and prisons.

Green, fire-rated doors
