When the people of Terrebonne Parish in Louisiana wanted to turn a defunct canning factory into the Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum, they received a helping hand from distributor Bourgeois & Associates Inc., which donated and installed the five-zone PXL life-safety system. The controls are modeled after ATM equipment, and read out step-by-step instructions that show facility managers the correct buttons to push.
