Arts education enhanced by renovations to historic North Carolina school

Student performers and artists at the Old Cary Elementary School in Cary, N.C., now have an opportunity to hone their craft in a three-story performing arts center. A 48,000- sf renovation and addition provides for classrooms and studio, rehearsal, and performance space, as well as office space for the visual, performance, and ceramic arts. Managed by New Atlantic Contracting Inc., renovations include an updated auditorium, kiln room, and front hall with two-story lobby.
