IKERD Consulting LLC recognized as a minority-owned/woman-owned firm by the state of Texas.

Construction career began in Coahuila, Mexico, in 1994; after moving to the U.S., founded Ikerd Consulting in 2003.

Finalist, Regional Hispanic Contractors Association’s “Rising Firm of the Year” Award (2011).

Worked at several Los Angeles-based architecture firms, including Pugh+Scarpa, Daly Genick Architects, Frank Gehry Partners, and others prior to opening his own firm.

Raised nearly $100,000 for student scholarships on behalf of AIA.

Specialized in designing, planning, and construction phases for the Port of Seattle Aviation Group.

Lead PM on the Remote Consolidated Rental Car Facility (RCF), off-site road improvement project, and Airport Bus Maintenance Facility at Sea-Tac International Airport.

Guided Port of Seattle senior management to pursue first LEED-NC at the RCF (attained LEED Silver). Also collaborating with A/E team during redesign of bus facility, which is also seeking LEED certification.

Joined Heery International in 2004 as an administrative assistant. Within five years, recognized as one of the group’s project management leaders.
