The national student housing operator expands its portfolio with the acquisition of The Bryn & Tremont Student Living at State College, Pa.

Pierce Education Properties, a leading national student housing owner and operator, announces the addition of The Bryn & Tremont Student Living properties to its growing portfolio of student apartments. These two vibrant and contemporary student communities are nestled in the heart of State College, Pa., and mark a strategic step forward in the company's commitment to delivering outstanding living experiences for students while expanding its presence in vital university markets.

Both properties are tailored to meet the diverse needs of Pennsylvania State University's dynamic student population, with The Bryn offering 684 beds and Tremont offering 696 beds. This acquisition underscores Pierce Education Properties' unwavering dedication to elevating the student living experience, ensuring students have access to top-tier accommodations and amenities.

Penn State Student Housing Amenities

Constructed in 1995, The Bryn comprises 11 buildings and 204 units, offering a variety of two-, three-, and four-bedroom floorplans, with an average size of 1,079 sf. Tremont Student Living, built in 1996, encompasses 17 buildings and 204 units, providing a mix of two- and four-bedroom floorplans with an average size of 980 sf.

Units at both properties have been thoughtfully designed to include private bedrooms, in-unit washers and dryers, and private balconies in select units, ensuring a comfortable and convenient living experience. Additionally, the communities offer a wide range of amenities, including spacious swimming pools with sun decks and hot tub, study rooms with complimentary printing services, state-of-the-art fitness centers, tennis court, and sand volleyball courts.

Located within 500 yards of each other on Vairo Boulevard, The Bryn & Tremont Student Living enjoy a prime location on the CATABUS line, providing residents with convenient and complimentary transportation to and from campus.
