TRADITION, QUALITY AND GLOBAL PRESENCE

Indusparquet hardwood craftsmanship evolved over a century of knowledge and skill in the production of wood products. Founders Kiko Uliana and Jose Antonio Baggio began working in the family sawmill at a young age. By age 19, they were producing parquet flooring during the week and installing it on weekends.

In 1970 Kiko and Jose Antonio founded Indusparquet in the city of Tiete, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Today, with over 4 decades and 4 generations of family involved in the production of hardwood flooring, Indusparquet is particularly proud that many of the original employees are still with the company.

This is the story of a Brazilian family company with global presence that for more than four decades produces a wide variety of types and formats of high quality wood floors. Ethics, commitment, sustainability and technology are the foundations of the detailed process of creation, production and sales of Indusparquet.

EXCELLENCE IN BRAZILIAN EXOTIC HARDWOOD FLOORING

Over 40 years of sustained growth has positioned Indusparquet as a worldwide leader in the production of premium exotic hardwood flooring. With three manufacturing plants in Brazil, distribution centers around the world, and work force of over 500-plus, Indusparquet exports to all five continents and over twenty-five countries. Its floors are featured in some of the world’s most noteworthy settings.

Indusparquet branded products reflect a company, which has built its heritage on product quality and style leadership. Every square foot is crafted with the absolute best manufacturing technology. Technology that transforms quality hardwoods and innovative style leadership into stunning floor fashion statements.

Beyond the beauty of Indusparquet’s hardwoods, its products preserve and protect the environment. Working closely with the Brazilian government, which strictly controls the country’s timber harvest, guidelines of IBAMA (Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis) demand lumber to be sourced from reforestation, or managed forests. Only eight trees per ¾ acre can be removed from the forest.

Indusparquet does not remove endangered trees, trees that provide food for animals… and, trees that are seed carriers. Therefore, because few trees are removed and fertile ones remain, the forest naturally regenerates by itself.

Growth of smaller trees is nurtured when mature trees are removed naturally. Every tree harvested is tagged with an ID code that is controlled by GPS technology, and stays with the tree throughout the manufacturing process. Careful planning goes from the extraction of the logs through re-forestation areas.

Indusparquet’s process includes a goal that consumes 100% of all timber that arrives at the factory. By-products are used to create innovative, design-oriented recycled products. Or to generate energy for the firm’s. The Indusparquet reputation is based on a goal of zero waste.
