In the last five years evidence-based design has grown from a mainly healthcare design method to being used in such applications as school and commercial building design and construction, and its principles may be applicable to other building types as well. The meeting will focus on whether real-world evidence substantiates the claims that BIM leads to higher performance in design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
