The PGA of America’s new 106,622-sf headquarters is now under construction on 6.2 acres of the 660-acre PGA Frisco campus. Once completed, the overall campus will include two new championship golf courses, a 500-room Omni Resort, and a golf entertainment district.

The four-story HQ building will be predominantly glass and limestone. It will initially house 150 corporate employees, with three floors of office space, a top floor conference room, and an outdoor terrace lounge space overlooking the driving range and golf course.

The ground floor will serve staff, PGA Members, and guests as a destination for the future of golf. It will include a video studio and an education center. The lobby design will feature a wood wall, sculpted to mimic the contours of a golf course; terrazzo flooring; and an open social stair, with side areas for seating. The front of the building will feature gardens with native plants to welcome visitors.

The project will also include a trophy gallery and indoor training facilities, such as a chipping area, putting green, driving range simulators, and three bays where exterior wall panels open out for hitting to the actual driving range.

The new PGA of America Headquarters is projected to open in the first quarter of 2022. Adolfson & Peterson Construction is the project’s general contractor, Cushman & Wakefield is managing the construction team on behalf of the PGA of America, and Page is the architect.
