The deadline to submit a proposal to our new BD+C Conference/Expo, BUILDINGChicago, has been extended to Friday, Feb 15, 2013.

BUILDINGChicago, to be held Sept 10-12, 2013, in Chicago,  is sponsored by BD+C, AIA Chicago, USGBC-Illinois, The Building Association (Chicago AGC chapter), and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and is co-located with USGBC's Greening the Heartland.

This would be an excellent opportunity for you and your colleagues to present their most exciting work, discuss innovations with peers and colleagues, and get feedback on your work from a high-level audience.

A couple of points of clarification:

1 - DO NOT SUBMIT topics related solely to single-family homes.

2 - Geographic inclusion: If you're with a firm in the greater Midwest, or if your presentation has to do with projects or subjects related to the Midwest, you are eligible to submit proposals. Examples: A Cleveland firm doing new cities in China, or a Boston firm doing projects in Des Moines.

All courses should be able to meet AIA/CES standards. We will handle all the AIA/CES approvals and paperwork.

We are also looking for courses that appeal across disciplines, if possible. Having a client, building owner, or tenant/end user on your panel would be ideal.

Proposals are due Friday, Feb 15.
